Support & Grants
BCF provides direct financial support to families in need and funds research into pediatric chronic conditions. No child should be denied care because of financial constraints.
Apply for Family Support
BCF provides direct financial assistance to families with children facing serious medical conditions — covering costs of critical care, treatments, and medical travel. BCF steps in where insurance, government programs, and family resources fall short.
We serve families in both the United States and India. In India, BCF focuses on cancer, thalassemia, JIA, and DMD.
Who can apply:
- Families with a child facing a serious medical condition
- Pediatric hospitals or social workers applying on behalf of a family
- Community health providers — ASHA workers, rural doctors, NGO health staff
- Medical institutions in India supporting children from low-income families
Please include: child's condition and diagnosis, treating hospital or clinic, estimated financial need, and contact information. BCF will respond within 5 business days.
Apply for a Research Grant
BCF funds pediatric chronic disease research — focusing on conditions where research investment is disproportionately low. BCF's COMPASS platform, indexing 103,348+ and growing papers, identifies frontiers where new funding has the greatest impact.
Current focus areas:
- Crohn's Disease — gut microbiome, precision medicine (US)
- Autoimmune conditions — JIA, emerging therapies (US)
- Cancer — pediatric oncology, underserved populations (US & India)
- Thalassemia — gene therapy, affordable access (India)
Who can apply:
- Academic researchers and faculty at accredited institutions
- Pediatric hospitals conducting clinical research
- Research institutions in the United States and India
Please include: research summary (1-2 pages), institution and PI credentials, funding amount requested, timeline, and alignment with BCF's focus areas. BCF will acknowledge within 3 business days.
