The word Beej (बीज) means seed in Hindi. A seed represents the beginning of life and the promise of growth. Within every seed lies extraordinary potential to overcome adversity, take root, and grow into something strong and life-giving.

At Beej Care Foundation, we believe every child carries that same potential, even during the most critical moments of illness.

Our mission is to plant seeds of healing by supporting children facing serious medical conditions, strengthening access to critical care, and advancing research that improves pediatric outcomes.

Through compassion, collaboration, and innovation, we provide direct support to families, fund pioneering medical research, and help build healthcare systems that allow children in the United States and India to survive, recover, and thrive.

BCF's work spans two countries, each with distinct needs and opportunities.

In the United States, BCF focuses on funding and supporting research into pediatric chronic conditions like Crohn's disease, autoimmune conditions, and cancer. BCF provides financial support to children facing serious medical conditions, strengthening access to critical care.

BCF's COMPASS platform indexes 103,348+ and growing research papers and uses AI to identify research frontiers, helping direct grant funding to the areas of greatest unmet need.

BCF also uses AI and technology to get families access to research using BCF tools — delivering research-backed guidance in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, and Spanish through PathLight.
