Our Story
Beej Care Foundation was founded with a clear and immediate purpose: to provide direct financial assistance to families with children facing serious medical conditions. From the beginning, BCF's core commitment was simple — no child should be denied critical care because of financial constraints.
As BCF grew, so did its understanding of the problem. Families not only needed financial support — they also needed access to knowledge. The research existed, but it was locked behind paywalls, written in English, and synthesized only by specialists that most families would never meet.
This insight led BCF to its second major initiative: building technology that makes pediatric research accessible to every family, in their own language, for free. BCF is now pioneering the use of AI in ways that have never been applied to nonprofit health missions before.
We are a small organization. We are volunteer-led. We operate on minimal resources by design. From tiny seeds, mighty futures grow.
